　　Crisis is to our life what illness is to our body. Just as fatal disease can destroy our body and sometimes even put an end to our lives, so does smashing crisis knock us down so hopelessly that we might never have chance of standing up again. However, most crises that frequent us in life are not such category. They, like occasional ailments which sometimes can bolster our body's immune system, are mostly minor and surmountable and therefore making us hardy enough to survive whatever adversities in our later life. 　　As far as a nation is concerned, crisis can be rendered beneficial. Take Wenchuan earthquake which shook most of Sichuan recently for example. The crisis has cost us Chinese a lot. Houses collapsed, bridges broke down and many affected areas were cut off from the outside world. Nearly a million people lost their homes, ten thousands of people were injured and another ten thousands of people were killed. But our sufferings won't go in vain. Scientists are more determined to improve the means by which we forecast earthquakes with more accuracy. We should build houses which can survive the destructive earthquakes. And we also should better the mechanism to face the emergencies and crisis.

　　As for economic life, crises are not always rendered bad. During these times, we can stop the race of fast economy to speculate about some fundamental issues of humanity such as how much high-speed development in this way can contribute to the well-being of human life. 　　Every student has his or her own ways of studying. Some students prefer studying alone rather than studying with a group of students while others stand on the opposite side. Which way is better? In my opinion, it depends on what kind of study it is and either way has its advantages. On the one hand, when you study alone, your efficiency increases. You may probably choose a quiet place without anyone there and sit comfortably by the table, which means you won't be interrupted by anyone else. As a result, you can arrange your time carefully and do what you plan to do strictly according to your arranged schedule. Therefore, your efficiency will increase if you keep on doing this. In addition, the quiet atmosphere is very helpful when you need to think over something deeply and thoroughly in order to learn something by heart. It is obvious that you can't keep on thinking with noise around you and you will soon become impatient. On the other hand, when you study with a group of people, especially those who are your close friends, it is easy for you to discuss something. For example, if you are doing a group project, new ideas will spring up one by one during the discussion because different people have different angles towards the same problem. Moreover, whenever you come up with a good idea, it will inspire the others and they will refine your opinion to make it more reasonable. As far as I am concerned, I prefer to study with a group of people because I want to avoid my inertia. Though more time will be arranged by me if I work alone, in most cases I don't concentrate on what I should do because of the inertia. The situation will change when someone comes to study with me because we can supervise each other. This means whenever either of us is doing something irrelevant to schoolwork, the other can tell him at once. I think this is the best way to let me work more efficiently. When learning with a group , discussing and debating become possible, which usually develop a perfect environment to develop critical thinking skills, and where many problems can even be solved unconsciously. While references are not easily accessible, and students' knowledge varies from one to another, they can complement each other ,and therefore save much time and energy. Furthermore, learning with a group simultaneously cultives students' good sense of cooperation, which is usually considered as an essential virtue. As of me, my preference depends on what subject I am learning or the phase in which I am. Different subjects may bring different choices. For example, if I was practicing guitar ,I'd better practice alone. If I was doing physical experiments , team work is always needed. Different phases also make choices different.
