My neighbour has a daughter. We are of the same age but we don~t study in the same school. In the evening we always do homework together. She is good at maths and I am good at English. So we often help each other.

那是六年前的事了。那一天，烈日炎炎，知了在大樹(shù)上叫著。媽媽和爸爸出去辦事了。我獨(dú)自一人在家里，因?yàn)殚e著沒(méi)事兒，我就打開(kāi)電視機(jī)，看電視。我按到一個(gè)英語(yǔ)頻道“CCTV-9”。看到老師的英語(yǔ)那么流利、動(dòng)聽(tīng)，我不禁贊嘆：“多么好的英語(yǔ)呀，要是我也能練成那樣一口好英語(yǔ)，那該多好��！”從此以后，只要一有空，我就看英語(yǔ)頻道“CCTV-9”。雖然我不懂這些英語(yǔ)，但你只要用心去聽(tīng)，就會(huì)聽(tīng)出其中之美了。漸漸地，我喜歡上了英語(yǔ)，也懂了一些最基本的單詞。爸爸媽媽見(jiàn)我對(duì)英語(yǔ)這么感興趣，就買(mǎi)了一些英語(yǔ)卡片和英語(yǔ)書(shū)，鼓勵(lì)我要好好學(xué)英語(yǔ)。這樣，我對(duì)學(xué)英語(yǔ)的信心也就更足了。
5歲時(shí)，我上了幼兒園小班，開(kāi)始學(xué)起了英語(yǔ)。我為我以前學(xué)過(guò)英語(yǔ)而感到自豪，不免有些驕傲的情緒，但我壓抑住了，更加努力學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)。過(guò)了三年，我離開(kāi)了幼兒園，來(lái)到了充滿生機(jī)的小學(xué)。在學(xué)校里，爸爸給我報(bào)了劍橋英語(yǔ)班。在班里，我學(xué)習(xí)十分刻苦。無(wú)論是嚴(yán)寒，還是酷暑，我每天都早起，堅(jiān)持念半個(gè)小時(shí)。有時(shí)我生了病，但要是那一天有英語(yǔ)課，我就算發(fā)高燒，也要去上，因此，我取得了優(yōu)異的'成績(jī)，在菱湖區(qū)口語(yǔ)比賽中得了個(gè)人一等獎(jiǎng)，在湖州市團(tuán)體比賽中，得了三等獎(jiǎng)，受到了老師的表?yè)P(yáng)，父母的稱贊，同學(xué)的羨慕。
在眾目睽睽的成績(jī)下，我再也壓抑不住那種驕傲的情緒了。聽(tīng)到爸爸媽媽看電視時(shí)的歡笑聲，我再也受不了了，心里想：讀英語(yǔ)太累了，要是每天不讀半個(gè)小時(shí)英語(yǔ)，那樣的話……這時(shí)，我的心美滋滋的，就忍不住鉆到電視機(jī)底下去了。一連幾天，我被電視的這種誘惑所吸引，所陶醉。每天半個(gè)小時(shí)的英語(yǔ)終于被電視所代替了，我不再用心念英語(yǔ)了。慢慢地，我的英語(yǔ)成績(jī)急速下降，課代表這個(gè)位置，眼看就要保不住了。這時(shí)，我十萬(wàn)火急，只想到一個(gè)辦法，那就是不看電視，去讀英語(yǔ)。經(jīng)過(guò)一個(gè)月的苦練，我的英語(yǔ)成績(jī)慢慢地回升了。通過(guò)這次，我明白了一個(gè)道理：學(xué)英語(yǔ)就要一步一步踏實(shí)地走下去，決不能來(lái)得半點(diǎn)虛假，這樣在你的英語(yǔ)之路上才會(huì)有更輝煌的時(shí)刻！
