Teaching Content: Sentence Patterns: Questions: What do you think of…? What does he/she think of…?  Answers: I love them. I like them. I don’t mind them. I don’t like them. I can’t stand them. He /She loves…likes…doesn’t mind …doesn’t like…can’t stand… Vocabulary: talk show sports show game show sitcom soap opera Teaching key points: Sentence Patterns, Vocabulary Teaching difficult points: Sentence Patterns Teaching procedures: 1. Greeting 2. Lead-in: Self-introduction: I am a director of CCTV-Children. Task:  Change some of our TV shows. I want to know: Do you like watching TV? Do you like cartoons? Do you like the TV shows on CCTV-Children? Do you know the names of our shows?   3. Let students name the shows they know and teach them: Kinds of TV shows: talk show , game show , sports show , sitcom , soap opera  Example: 開(kāi)心詞典is a game show. 4. Guessing Game Show some pictures to the students; ask them to say the names of them. Have a competition between four groups. 5. Pair work: What do you think of…? Different expressions: I love them. I like them. I don’t mind them. I don’t like them. I can’t stand them. 6. Make a Survey: Let students talk about TV shows and explain the 、 reasons.  What does he/she think of…?
